Jessica A. De Vivo

Prior to joining the law firm in 2002, Jessica earned her United States Coast Guard Master sailing license for un-enlisted service aboard tall-ships along the U.S. Atlantic seaboard, Bermuda and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands. Throughout her successful ten year sailing career, Jessica was employed by Outward Bound and The South Street Seaport Museum. As captain, experiential educator and lead instructor, Jessica was responsible for all aspects of the programs including development, safety, insurance, regulation compliance, running the ships and the crew. Since joining the firm Jessica has remained active in the sailing community through private yacht ownership. As a result, while participating in all aspects of the firm's admiralty litigation practice, based upon her expertise in sailing, Jessica has also developed her own niche business. Specifically, Jessica has focused on the legal aspects of private yacht construction, ownership, management, and insurance as well as recreational boating, racing and regulation compliance.
