Mr. Keane first joined the firm in 1973 and today there is no one more knowledgeable about the operational aspects of the transportation industry. In addition to cargo claims litigation, Mr. Keane has developed an extensive practice in Federal Maritime Commission regulatory matters. He is called upon by major steamship lines to draft and review inter-carrier agreements such as slot and space charters, and operating agreements. Mr. Keane has been named in the 2007 - 2012 editions of New York Super Lawyers. He has also been named one of the World's leading lawyers by Chambers International (2001 - 2008), and one of New York's top lawyers by New York Magazine (2007).
