James M. Textor

Mr. Textor first came on board in 1981. As an ex-tanker deck officer for Getty Fleet Corp., he is considered one of the top liquid cargo litigators in the country for charter party transportation and bulk liquid commodity sales contract disputes. He served as in-house counsel for for an oil trader, and has a detailed knowledge of the workings of the petroleum and chemical industry including hedging and derivatives. His lengthy litigation history includes maritime arbitrations and federal court practice. The author of six law review articles, Mr. Textor also serves as a maritime arbitrator.
