The Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House  is home to the Southern District of New York Federal Bankruptcy Court. The building was designed by Cass Gilbert, who later designed the Woolworth Building ( where the Second Circuit Court of Appeals now has offices ) as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and Southern District of New York Courthouses. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and has been designated a New York City Landmark.
